The Alnwick Garden in Northumberland is one of the most exciting contemporary gardens to be developed in the last century, a magical landscape created from a unique idea.
Set in mature gardens, The Old School House, Tillmouth, was built in 1867 as a school and headmaster’s residence, providing education for children from surrounding farms and hamlets. After closing in 1965, it was sympathetically converted into a private dwelling. The Hodgson family have made it their home and will offer you a friendly, warm welcome.
The Old School House is situated perfectly for excursions and explorations in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
